Who we are
SNAPCON is a high-rise construction consultancy based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, company, email address, whether you are a developer, general contractor or other, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. The site remembers, in your own browser only, whether you have already seen the opening animation in this session. That setting never leaves your device.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, to discuss a potential project with you, and to keep a reasonable record of our business correspondence. We do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing.
Service providers
- Website hosting — Hostinger. Our website and contact form run on Hostinger’s servers, which keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of visit) for security and operation.
- Fonts — Google Fonts. To display the site’s typefaces, your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Email. Enquiries are delivered to our business email inbox.
These providers may store or process information outside Canada, for example in the United States or the European Union, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain reasonable business records, and then delete them.
How we protect it
The website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to enquiries to the people who need them to reply. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to our using it. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
